Owner requirements
What we need before approval
Complete vehicle documents
The car grant, the owner's IC, a valid driving licence, a current insurance cover note and valid road tax must all be presented for approval.
A signed host agreement
Once your car is approved, a formal rental agreement is signed with the registered owner named on the vehicle documents.
A clean record
Any outstanding summonses or legal cases involving the car must be fully settled before it can join our fleet.

Which cars is GEARS looking for?

Can the car be registered under someone else's name?
The agreement is signed with the registered owner named on the car's documents, so the owner must be part of the application.
How much can I earn from renting out my car?
It depends on the car, its condition and how often it is available. After reviewing your photos and documents, our team shares the rental profit details with you.
How does the referral bonus work?
Introduce an owner of a car on our wanted list. If we add that car to our rental fleet, we pay you a referral bonus.
